How it works

Flip the switch. The ring lights. Everyone at the table can see it's listening.

It transcribes on the device. Eight microphones, a speech model on the chip, text with speaker labels. No audio is stored.

Flip it off. The transcript goes to your phone over local Bluetooth through a small app with no account. A plain text file. It's yours.

What it never does

  • Joins a call.
  • Uploads.
  • Summarizes.
  • Sends anything anywhere but your phone.
  • Keeps a transcript longer than seven days.
  • Listens while the ring is dark.

The switch

The switch is mechanical. Up connects the microphones, down opens the circuit. The ring runs on the same circuit — if it's dark, the microphones have no power. You can check with a screwdriver.
